Ken Zeichner is the Boeing Professor of Teacher Education at the University of Washington, Seattle. He is a former Vice President of Division K of AERA, an elected member of the National Academy of Education and Fellow of the American Educational Research Association, and he was given the Legacy Award by AERA’s Division K and the Lifetime Achievement Award by the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (2009). He was a faculty member at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1976-2009 serving as the Hoefs-Bascom Professor of Teacher Education and Associate Dean for Teacher Education and International Education.
